Microsoft is making it easier to read MSN news articles in the Edge browser with integration for Copilot’s Summarize button. The summaries will open in the Edge sidebar, highlighting the story’s main points.
Microsoft Edge has Copilot available in the sidebar, and the company is trying to add its AI Assistant to the New Tab Page and other parts of the browser UI.
Microsoft, known for its deep integration of Copilot across its products, has added Copilot to MSN. We noticed that in Microsoft Edge stable including all versions, each MSN news feed article headline is accompanied by a summarize button, which, when clicked, shows the main points of the article in the sidebar.
“New! Summarize with Copilot. Let Copilot break it down—see the key takeaways in seconds.” The summarize button next to MSN articles highlights this new feature.
MSN (Microsoft Network) is a web portal that provides news, entertainment, sports, and financial updates from various sources. The MSN News Feed curates articles from trusted publishers, providing users with a personalized experience based on their interests.
Keep in mind, that Copilot learns your interests as you use it, you can visit its More menu> Settings> Options> Personalization and Memory to control this.
