Microsoft’s chromium-based Edge Canary has just been updated to version 76.0.146.0.  The update includes a few subtle changes to the design of Incognito Mode.

There are different shades of black in the title bar and address bar, as well as an updated warning message, which reads:

When exploring InPrivate, Microsoft Edge will delete the navigation information once all the InPrivate cards are closed. While other people using this device will not see your browsing activity, your school, workplace and internet service provider may still be able to do so.

Microsoft Edge won’t save:

  • Your browsing history
  • Cookies and site data
  • Passwords, addresses and other form entries

Microsoft Edge will save:

  • Favorites
  • Download

If you’re interested in receiving daily code updates for the Edge browser, download Canary by going to Settings > About Microsoft Edge.  From there, you’ll be able to download all the necessary files.
