A week ago we reported that Canary builds of Microsoft’s next gen browser is now available for download for Windows 7, 8 or 8.1 on your PC.
Today Microsoft announced that Dev builds now also support Windows 7, 8 and 8.1, meaning users who do not appreciate the wild ride of nightly builds can now also take part in the testing of the browser.
It is important to note that Edge on Windows 7, 8 and 8.1 will support almost all the features that are available on Windows 10 and Mac. You can download the preview build here.
