Windows 10 is built on user feedback, or so Microsoft often tells us. Due to a massive Insider program, Microsoft is able to develop Windows 10 out in the open in the real world, and pay close attention to what users actually want.

That is, of course, Microsoft’s narrative, but in reality, plenty of Insiders have complained that rather than listening to them Microsoft often ignores even highly upvoted feedback, and sometimes does the opposite.

The lack of attention was aptly demonstrated today when a Microsoft developer responded to the request to bring back the Project Astoria Android emulator to Windows 10 Mobile.

The response, of course, has absolutely nothing to do with the request and shows the developer probably did not even read the question.

I’m sure in a few years however Android apps will be happy running on Windows, well after its stopped mattering of course.
