Geekwire have uploaded this video from a Seattle event showing how Microsoft is accomplishing the  transfer of data between the Kinectimals game on the Xbox 360 and the mobile game on Windows Phone 7.5.

Interestingly the system, which was implemented by Frontier, the developer of Kinectimals, uses QRCodes rather than Microsoft Tags.

Microsoft vice president David Treadwell, said that it is an example of the “connected companion experiences” that Microsoft is aiming to bring to its gaming initiatives.
