Microsoft yesterday delivered a new build of Windows 10 for PCs and Mobile devices on the Windows Insider fast ring. However, as with all fast ring builds, it wasn’t without its bugs. Microsoft yesterday issued a warning noting that Surface users on the fast ring would be prone to BSODs(Blue Screen of Death) due to camera driver issues. However, Microsoft’s head of Windows Insiders, Dona Sarkar, today on twitter noted that there’s a fix on the way now.
(1/2) #WindowsInsiders you should no longer experience bluescreens on Surface devices from the camera driver issue.

(2/2) The bad driver is removed on updating to14393 and a new driver is rolling out via WU #WindowsInsiders. https://t.co/YOQzrRmzqe

If you own a Surface Pro 4 or Surface Book and are on Windows 10 14293 you’ll now be able to grab an update from the Windows Update service to fix the buggy drivers.
The Update is rolling out over the next few hours, so if you aren’t getting it now, you shouldn’t be worried.
