At Ignite 2018 today, Microsoft today announced new integrations between LinkedIn and Office 365. With the new integration, you will be able to coauthor documents with people in your LinkedIn network in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and send emails to them directly from Outlook. To enjoy this integration, users have to just connect their LinkedIn account to Office 365.

Microsoft is also planning to bring LinkedIn information about the people in your meeting invites, offering you insights about attendees so you can prep for meetings better.

Both these features will be coming soon in a staged rollout.
