Last year, Microsoft announced that they are acquiring leading mobile push analytics provider Capptain. With Capptain’s solution, organizations can analyze customer and employee behavior in real-time, and respond by pushing targeted messages, announcements, information or offers. Today, Microsoft announced that Capptain is now available in Public Preview as Azure Mobile Engagement.
With this preview, we continue our Cloud First – Mobile First journey by closing the marketing loop for app publishers and marketers allowing them to engage directly with all of their users.
Azure Mobile Engagement is a SaaS-delivered, data-driven user engagement platform that enables real-time fine-grain user segmentation, app user analytics, and contextually-aware smart push notifications and in-app messaging across all connected devices.
