Microsoft is making it easier for you to buy Surface spare parts. This time, the Redmond-based tech giant teamed up with iFixit, and replacement components will soon be available directly on the website.

“This collaboration gives Surface owners more options to take control of their hardware and save the planet. With each repair, you can help us get closer to a more sustainable future with less e-waste,” says iFixit’s Gwendalyn Garcia in the official announcement.

iFixit will now sell all of the repairable components for Microsoft Surface devices directly to customers, even if their warranty has expired. This is in addition to the parts that were previously available through the Microsoft Store and commercial resellers.

The lineup includes Surface Pro 7, 7+, Pro X, Pro 8, Pro 9, and Pro 9 5G. Not only that, but you can also get spare parts like keyboards and such for surface laptops: Laptop 3, Laptop 4, Laptop 5, Laptop Go 2, Laptop Studio, Studio 2+, and Laptop SE.

Each purchase comes with step-by-step guides so you can do it freely from the comfort of your home.

Head over to Microsoft’s official blog post for details on which spare parts you can get on iFixit.
