Microsoft announces improved publishing times for Microsoft Store

Developers update their Store listings often. They update the app description to highlight new features, add new screenshots and video trailers, update app’s or game’s price, and more. When developers submit these kind of updates to Microsoft Store listings, it will take few days to reflect globally in Microsoft Store. Microsoft Store team today announced that they have improved the publishing times.

From today, submissions that make these types of changes without updating app packages will be published faster. After these submissions go through the certification process, these updates will be reflected in Microsoft Store in less than one hour. If developers update their app package, it will take up to three business days for the updated packages to get published in Microsoft Store.
