Microsoft announces general availability of Dynamics 365 Remote Assist and Layout mixed reality apps

Microsoft today announced the general availability of two mixed reality business applications: Dynamics 365 Remote Assist and Dynamics 365 Layout. At Build developer conference early this year, Microsoft first demonstrated these two new mixed reality apps that will help enterprise customers in many ways.

With Dynamics 365 Remote Assist app, technicians and remote experts can solve problems in real time with heads-up, hands-free video calling, annotations, and file sharing. This will allow organizations to eliminate the need for costly travel expenses and save a lot of time.

The Dynamics 365 Layout enables customers and partners a way to visualize room layouts in real-world scale. The ability to walk through proposed layouts in physical space or virtual reality. One can move, resize and rotate 3-D models to edit layouts on the spot.
