Microsoft yesterday announced the general availability of Log Analytics and the Operations Management Suite Portal in Microsoft Azure Government.
Log Analytics is a service in Operations Management Suite (OMS) that helps you collect and analyze data generated by resources in your cloud and on-premises environments. It gives you real-time insights using integrated search and custom dashboards to readily analyze millions of records across all of your workloads and servers regardless of their physical location.
Microsoft Operations Management Suite (OMS) is Microsoft’s cloud-based IT management solution that helps you manage and protect your on-premises and cloud infrastructure. Since OMS is implemented as a cloud-based service, you can have it up and running quickly with minimal investment in infrastructure services. New features are delivered automatically, saving you ongoing maintenance and upgrade costs.
With the general availability, Azure Government customers can create a Log Analytics workspace directly from US Gov Cloud OMS Portal today by going to oms.microsoft.us. Once the workspace is created, they can link it to their Azure Government subscription. OMS will also add the ability to create a workspace from the New Azure Portal in the coming weeks.
