The days of Wintel are long over, with Intel increasingly pursuing an Android strategy, whole Microsoft is increasing support for ARM.

It seems in Sweden the two giant companies can still find common ground, and have worked together to highlight products using their technologies.

Microsoft and Intel have opened up a show room showcasing devices such as ultra books, tablets, hybrids and all-in-one PCs from OEMs such as Asus, Acer, Samsung, HP and Lenovo using Intel chips. Of course devices using ARM chips like the Microsoft Surface are not featured at all.

There are also Xbox 360s so users can try out Xbox Smartglass.

The showroom is not a store, but all products are labelled with QRCodes from retailer Dustin Home  so if something does take your fancy you can easily put in an order.

The showroom is located at Birger Jarlsgatan 15, Stockholm and is open from 10 AM to 7 PM from Monday to Friday, 10 AM to 5 PM on Saturdays, and 10 AM to 4 PM on Sundays. It will remain open all the way to 31 January.
