In a recent post on X (formerly Twitter), renowned tech entrepreneur and CEO of Microsoft AI Mustafa Suleyman confirmed that Copilot users can now enjoy two additional voice options, Birch and Rain. Suleyman’s announcement highlighted the tech giant’s commitment to meeting user demand, stating, “The #1 thing Copilot users ask for is more voices. Today, you get them! Welcome Birch and Rain.”
Now you can personalize chatting with Copilot even more – can’t wait to hear what you pick. And yes, these are unlimited too!,” shared Suleyman. Users can also tweak the Voice Speed from the settings as per their preference. Microsoft Copilot and AI features while already available to Snapdragon, are also being rolled out AMD and Intel processor devices.
While Copilot’s latest addition of new voices could help cater to audiences looking for more options, OpenAI also launched a new voice for ChatGPT named Monday on April 1, 2025. While many users claimed it to be an April Fools Day prank, it was soon revealed that the voice pack was launched and made accessible to both free and subscribed plan users.
