Microsoft is back with a few announcements at the enterprise-centered Microsoft 365 Copilot “Wave 2” event. Hosted by Redmond’s boss Satya Nadella and its corporate VP Jared Spataro, the “next phase of Microsoft 365 Copilot innovation” details a lot of new capabilities for the AI—like Copilot Pages.
Copilot Pages is a new collaborative AI-driven feature for business. The tool lets teams use the Copilot chatbot to interactively edit and update a shared page, integrating data from various sources, including web and work files.
Then, Copilot Pages can be easily shared and edited collaboratively, functioning like a dynamic workspace for creating project plans, meeting notes, and more. It is part of a broader update that includes enhanced AI functionalities in Microsoft 365 apps and the introduction of Copilot agents to automate tasks and integrate easily into Teams and Outlook.
And as expected, Microsoft also uses OpenAI’s latest o1 model with twice faster response time, says Spataro. Nadella also says that the number of Copilot adopters among Microsoft 365 users has doubled, and as predicted, the Copilot rebrand into “Microsoft 365 Copilot” was present throughout the stream.
“You and your team can work collaboratively in a page with Copilot, seeing everyone’s work in real time and iterating with Copilot like a partner, adding more content from your data, files, and the web to your Page,” Spataro says during the event.
