Blockdot studios have launched their first Windows Phone game in the marketplace recently. Dan Ferguson, Vice President of Creative Services and Co-Founder of Blockdot on Windows Phone platform,

“Our agency has been working with Microsoft for years, and we immediately seized the opportunity to create exciting and engaging content – original IP, no less – on Microsoft’s new Windows 7 platform.”

Metallurgy game is now available for free on Windows Phone marketplace. Try it out.

Game Description:

In the game, you must keep the scrap metal balls from falling into the molten pit. To do this, navigate a paddle – with your finger – to the left and right, continuously bouncing balls of the paddle.
As you play, the paddle will gather thermal energy. When the paddle has gathered enough energy, it will temporarily double its size.

Occasionally, the lava pit will spit out special molten balls that must also be juggled. These balls have the capability of combining with each other to form a larger ball.

Points are awarded depending on the type of ball that hits the paddle. You’ll earn an extra life for every 1000 points that are scored.

The more you play, the more balls will gradually appear.

Miss too many balls and the game ends.

The game has three Modes: Easy, Normal, and Survival.
In Survival Mode, it’s “sudden death” — you’ll keep playing until you lose a life! You can’t earn extra lives during Survival Mode.
In Easy Mode and Survival Mode, your scores are saved on your device.
In Normal Mode, your scores are saved to a global scoring system, letting you compete for bragging rights with friends and other competitors.
