It has been difficult to find retailers to commit to ship dates for the Nokia Lumia 920, with most simply saying November.

Now however MediaMarkt, Germany’s biggest retailer (and ironically part of the Metro AG group) has posted the device on their site, with a release date of the 1st November 2012.

The handset is a pricy 649 Euro ($840) but that of course includes taxes in Germany. The Nokia Lumia 820 is also listed for 449 Euro with the same release date.

Microsoft is set to unveil Windows Phone 8 properly on the 29th October, which will hopefully give us even more reason to plunk down the cash.
