As we saw from the rapid adoption of the Nokia Lumia 800 in Finland, the country is extremely loyal to Nokia.

That would explain why 93% of Finnish companies use Symbian smartphones. Now a study by Marketvision reveals that there is a sea change going on, and that Windows Phone would be the main beneficiary.

72% of companies are planning to update their support policies, and their first choice is Nokia’s new Windows Phones, then other Windows Phones, and then finally other mobile operating systems, including iOS, Android, Symbian, Meego and Blackberry.

While the Finnish market is not very big it in some ways is a great case study for a future where Windows Phone is a extremely mainstream operating system, and it already looks like it will work pretty well.
