At Machinima’s Inside Gaming Awards held on Saturday night at the Avalon in Hollywood, Microsoft’s flagship game franchise Halo 4 won the “Game of the year” award. Halo 4 also won the best sound design category and the best competitive multiplayer category.

Game of the Year: “Halo 4? (343 Industries)

Best Competitive Multiplayer: “Halo 4? (343 Industries)

Best Sound Design: “Halo 4? (343 Industries)

It was estimated that more than 4 million copies of Halo 4 was sold in the first week alone and the number is expected to increase significantly during the holiday season.
