According to The Information Microsoft is working on a laptop/phone hybrid for the enterprise market. We have no idea what this device will look like, but I suspect it will be a clamshell device with a landscape keyboard.

3D designer and Microsoft/Nokia fan Omar Pirela did not have to be satisfied with just daydreaming about the device, but was able to also create the above concept design which he calls the modern Lumia Communicator.

The device features a dual-screen clamshell design and appears to run Windows 10 for phones on the outside and windows 10 desktop on the inside, something which will need an intel processor.

The device also features a high megapixel carl zeiss camera, satellite calling and the screen is between 5 and 5.5 inches.

Something like this device will of course  not be thin, but when one starts getting into the region of laptops that can make calls some sacrifices need to be made.

What do our readers think of this concept?
