Microsoft’s Lumia 650 may not yet be announced but pretty much everything about it is already known.
Irish Tech Blogger Jim from Tech Blog Ireland managed to procure a store card of the Lumia 650, confirming all its specs and hinting at an imminent release.
While the Lumia 650 appears to have a Snapdragon 212 processor as seen by the 1.3GHZ quad-core in the store card, Microsoft opting for the maximum clock speed here may indicate a device that is more performant than older, lower-clocked Lumias. 16GB of storage and a 5 MP front-facing camera round-up the upgrades over year’s Lumia 640 and differentiate it significantly from the weaker Lumia 550. The only weak spot is pricing, with the device being released in Ireland at €199.99, it’ll be slightly more expensive than comparable Lumias at launch.
It is currently unknown exactly when Microsoft plan to release this handset, but we’ll be sure to review it when it comes out and see how it stacks up compared to the Lumia 640 and 640 XL.
