Monsoon Shootout is an upcoming Indian movie starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui, who has also been a brand ambassador for Truecaller app in India. Afzal has used Skype to record live cello with Russian artists.

In an interview, music director Atil Afzal said “Monsoon Shootout’ was a challenging film as Nawazuddin has a complex character in the movie. To make his character stand out, I have given a very edgy, new age music which is a mix of orchestral and electronic genre. For this, I recorded live cello with Russian artists over Skype and have also incorporated violins”

This is not at all an easy task but the dedication of the music director and the power of the technology that Skype offers has led to this challenge being successful.  This is not the first time Skype came to rescue as recently Skype rolled-out a feature to help interviewers test coding skills of candidates.
