Lenovo launches the new IdeaPad series laptops powered by 10th generation Intel core processors

Ahead of the IFA 2019, Lenovo has announced the new IdeaPad S340 and S540 sleek laptops as a part of a general refresh to its consumer lineup. The new S340 and S540 comes with sold specs in a sleek body and will be available to the consumers soon.
The IdeaPad S340 is powered by Intel’s 10th generation chipsets and up to 16 GB of RAM. Lenovo is also bundling a 13-inch QHD screen and comes with an optional NVIDIA GeForce MX250 graphics. For storage, Lenovo IdeaPad S340 supports up to 1TB of SSD storage. Lenovo IdeaPad S340 also has a decent I/O including two USB-C ports, Thunderbolt 3, headphone jack, and one USB 3.1 Gen 1 port. The laptop weighs just 1.3 kg and supports Dolby Audio. To power things up, Lenovo has added a battery that lasts up to 8 hours on a single charge. The company hasn’t released the availability and price of the device yet.
The IdeaPad S540 is powered by Intel’s 10th generation or AMD’s Ryzen 7 chipsets ranging from Core i3-10110U on the low end to the six-core Core i7-10710 and up to 16 GB of RAM. Lenovo is also bundling a 13-inch QHD screen and comes with an optional NVIDIA GeForce MX250 graphics. For storage, Lenovo IdeaPad S540 supports up to 1TB of SSD storage. Lenovo IdeaPad S540 also has a decent I/O including two USB-C ports, Thunderbolt 3, headphone jack, and one USB 3.1 Gen 1 port. The laptop also comes with something Lenovo is calling Q-Control which uses AI to predict the usage and adjust the power and thermals accordingly for better performance. The laptop also supports Lenovo’s rapid charge and has Windows Hello. To power things up, Lenovo has added a battery that promises up to 16 hours on a single charge. The laptop is expected to launch in October at a price of $999 and will be available in three color variants: Ice Blue, Light Silver, and Frost White.
