Yesterday Microsoft posted an update for the Xbox Music app which they claimed focussed specifically on speed and performance.
In my own testing the app was noticeable faster, and I am in fact now perfectly happy with it speed-wise.
WindowsPhoneDaily put it to a more objective test, and have posted this before and after comparison of the update in action.
