Microsoft released Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 22635.3209 (KB5034855) to the Beta Channel, bringing new features and addressing various bugs.

Here’s what’s new:

  • Effortlessly access and edit photos and screenshots from your Android phone: Get instant notifications on your PC whenever a new photo or screenshot is captured on your Android device and edit them directly in Snipping Tool.
  • New settings window for managing mobile devices: Manage all your connected devices easily through the new settings window, replacing the previous Phone Link settings page.

The update also fixes several issues, including:

  • Problems with the CrashOnAuditFail registry value, eSIM deletion notifications, and Azure Virtual Desktop virtual machine restarts.
  • UI glitches in Microsoft Edge and long-edge-fed printer alignment issues.
  • Stop errors encountered when using a machine as a remote desktop session host and troubleshooting failures with the Get Help app.
  • Unresponsiveness of the Windows Settings Home page and connection problems with Remote Desktop Web Authentication.
  • Localization problems with Steps Recorder and issues opening Notepad for standard user accounts.
  • Difficulties opening 8 Zip archives and games installed on secondary drives.
  • Functionality issues with the Certificate Authority snap-in, system sleep functionality, and device metadata download security.
  • Network switching problems between cellular and Wi-Fi, slow Narrator announcements with Natural Voices, and explorer.exe crashes.
