Over the last weekend, Microsoft released a new Skype Insider build (v8.52.76.76) with two new features.

First, Microsoft is bringing the ability to schedule group calls. Skype already supported scheduling calls from any 1:1 chat. With this update, you can select all the participants of the group to schedule a time for a call.

Second, if you want to add someone to a conversation, you can just drag and drop right from your contact list into a conversation on Skype for desktop. Skype will display a dialog asking whether to add or share the contact.

These new features will be rolled out Insiders over the next couple of days.
