Microsoft today announced the release of new Office for Android Insider update. This Build 16.0.10228.20010 is a preview of the June 2018 update and it comes with new some new features which will be loved by millions of Office users. Read about them below.
Present from your phone:
You can now walk into a meeting room with just a smartphone and present a slide show on a large screen. Obviously, you need an Android phone and large display that supports Miracast. Learn more about this feature here.
Hyperlinks in living colors:
Yes, you can finally apply any font color you want to hyperlinks.
Calendar at your fingertips:
Outlook for Android now supports calendar widget. With this support, you can access your calendar quickly, and easily scan and take needed actions.
Tracking Control:
With Outlook for Android, you can now prevent senders from tracking whether you opened their emails by blocking links to external images in messages.
Support for favorites:
You can now identify the folders and groups you want to be able to quickly access, and set them as favorites on Outlook for Android.
