Microsoft yesterday released a new firmware update for the most affordable Surface device, the Surface Go. This update is available for Surface Go devices running Windows 10 April 2018 Update, version 1803 or greater.

The update is for the Surface Generic IO & Memory Access (System) and it improves display calibration addressing incorrect power setting behaviors associated with Windows 10 October 2018 Update.

To download System – 1.5.1.0 firmware, go to Settings -> Update & security -> Windows Update -> Check for updates or wait for the update to be pushed out automatically.
