Microsoft to add open/close window animations for Store apps with the upcoming Windows 10 builds

Windows 10 introduces a new open/close window animations for the Classic Win32 apps. Unfortunately enough, the animations aren’t available for the Store aka Modern apps in Windows 10 just yet. Thankfully though, Microsoft could be bringing the animations for Store apps with the upcoming builds. Here’s a GIF showing the closing animation for the Calculator app:
The animations for the Store apps are reportedly available in the “recent builds” of Windows 10. The unknown build also includes a tiny design improvement for the context menus:

Alongside that, the build also includes a new personalization icon:

We suspect the open/close animations for the Store apps will be added with Threshold 2 in the coming months. However, we expect to see these improvements in the upcoming Insider builds. That said, tell us what you think of the open/close animations for the Store apps in the comment section below.
