Japanese carrier KDDI is releasing an Android phone with a custom UI which bears a lot of resemblance to our favourite mobile OS.

The Lida Infobar A01’s UI features much of the chrome-less look of Metro and also have Live Tiles which look and move a lot like Windows Phone 7’s start page.

Of course its not a complete Windows Phone 7 clone, but it is interesting to see the widening influence of Microsoft’s new UI paradigm, which is popping up in more and more places, including random iPhone apps and Engadget Editor refugee websites.
