Microsoft recently released the July cumulative update for all supported versions of Windows 10. It’s not just Windows 10, Windows 8.1 and Windows 7 SP 1 are getting the July cumulative update too. Those who are running Windows 7 SP 1 will get KB4507449, while Windows 8.1 users to get KB4507448.

What’s new in July Cumulative Update for Windows 7

  • Security updates to Windows Server, Microsoft Graphics Component, Windows Storage and Filesystems, Windows Shell, Windows Input and Composition, and Windows Kernel.

What’s new in July Cumulative Update for Windows 8.1

  • Addresses an issue that may cause BitLocker to go into recovery mode if BitLocker is being provisioned at the same time as updates are being installed.
  • Security updates to Windows Wireless Networking, Windows Server, Windows Storage and Filesystems, Microsoft Graphics Component, Windows Input and Composition, Windows Kernel, and Windows App Platform and Frameworks.
