IOTA Foundation today announced its most ambitious project yet, IOTA Data Marketplace. The IOTA Data Marketplace is a decentralized data marketplace that opens up the data silos to everyone. They will open up an API for the marketplace soon that will allow anyone to contribute data with their sensors, and build new data-driven applications. Several leading companies including Microsoft have joined this data marketplace initiative.

This next generation technology will accelerate the connected, intelligent world and go beyond blockchain that will foster innovation real world solutions, applications and pilots for our customers,” said Microsoft.
