Instagram has updated its apps for iOS and Android to add a new dark theme. The dark theme was first spotted in beta builds of Instagram for Android but has now rolled out to stable channels on both platforms.
Users are unable to manually choose what theme they want, instead, the app conforms to the system default theme.
Instagram also rolled out a new camera to its app, complete with gif support for posting on stories.

The update is available now to users on iOS and Android. Last week, the firm also launched a new camera-centric Threads app, seemingly refocusing on its camera capabilities.
