Instagram has been making some big changes to its app in the past couple of weeks. After enabling dark mode for both Android and iOS apps, Instagram will soon allow users to add event stickers that can be used to RSVP to events.
The feature was recently discovered by Jane and it shows a new Invite sticker among the existing ones. The invite sticker will allow users to add event details including name, location and the time. This will allow followers to RSVP to the event straight from the Instagram stories.

Since the event stickers are added to the Instagram Stories, users should be able to set the privacy to custom to make sure the event invite is shown to a selected number of people. As always, there’s no ETA at the moment but expect the feature to roll out by the end of the year.
