Insiders: Ink Effects now available for Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for Windows Desktop

Back in May, Microsoft announced that they will be bringing new pencil texture and ink effects like rainbow, galaxy, lava, ocean, gold, silver and more that will help consumers express their creativity in new ways in Office apps. Today, Microsoft announced that Office Insiders in the Fast Ring can try these Ink Effects in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for Windows Desktop. They can try out the below scenarios.
- Try bold effects (Rainbow, Galaxy, Lava, Ocean)
- Try metallic effects (Rose Gold, Gold, Silver, Bronze)
- Add pens with ink effects to your custom pencil case; rearrange them how you like
- Have fun doodling, annotate your notes with some flair, and add interest to your presentations
Office 365 Subscribers should make sure that they are in Fast Version 1709 (Build 8424.1000) or later to try out this effect.
