At the company’s Future Decoded event in India, Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella today announced that State Bank of India, India’s largest bank has selected Office 365 as its productivity solution for its employees. SBI is one of the largest employers in India having 222,033 employees. SBI will be using Office 365 to drive communication and collaboration among its employees.

Apart from SBI and the recently announced Flipkart, Satya also highlighted that government departments across the states of Andhra Pradesh, Punjab, Maharashtra, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu are now using Microsoft’s cloud and mobile technologies to empower people, optimize processes and transform services.
