HTC trademarks HTC 7 Melody, new WP7 handset coming

HTC has applied for a trademark on what could be a new Windows Phone 7 device, the HTC 7 Melody. The trademark was filed in August 2010, and does not tell us any more about the handset.
While there is a possibility the trademark could have been for the HTC Surround, it is likely another music-focussed handset is making its way to the USA soon.
