Lex writes to let us know about an apparently prevalent issue of the HTC HD7’s camera failing for some unknown reason, with the app completely failing to launch.
A poster on the YouTube video above which demonstrates the problem suggests the camera module itself may have become unseated, and users may want to open their phone up and click it back in place. This suggests it may be the kick stand of the device, which surrounds the camera, which may be the problem.
Since all Windows Phones should still be under manufacturer warranty we suggest instead users simply return their devices for repair or replacement, but it would be interesting to know if this is indeed the cause.
