One of the features of Windows Phone 8 is support for RTL languages such as Arabic and Hebrew.  We posted earlier that Nokia’s Windows Phone 8 range is being released in Oman, and are now happy to report that Orange Israel has released the HTC 8X with Hebrew localization on their network.

The handset is available at 3924 Sheqel (£634, $1016) which is rather expensive, and it may still make more sense to import the handset, but it is nice to see some local support in the region finally.

Thanks Mike for the tip.
