HP has started rolling out a new firmware update for the Elite x3. The latest firmware update takes the software to 0002.0000.0018.0105. This update does not seem to include any new features, but it likely brings some minor performance improvements and bug fixes. Here’s the changelog:

Apps HP Display Tools error popup of “We can’t run that here” is fixed.
HP Device Hub support of accessories firmware upgrade is enabled.
Audio Handsfree double talk tuning parameters updated.
Camera QR code not recognized by certain apps such as Whatsapp, WeChat, is fixed.
Connectivity 3G support for 2nd SIM card is enabled.
Stability Device crash on repeated refresh of certain web sites such as att.com, yahoo.com, is fixed.
User Interface Network registration status shown on Action Center pull down.

If you happen to own the Elite x3, you can get the firmware update by heading over to Settings > Update & Security. Keep in mind that the update’s availability might vary depending on your region, carrier, and the Windows Insider program you’re rolled into.
