Hike is a popular messaging platform in India and it has over 100 million users. Today, Hike has announced that it will stop the development of its Windows Phone app. The reason behind the decision is that they are going to double down on their efforts on Android and iOS, which make up more than 98% of the smartphone market share in India. Hence, there will be no further updates for Hike app on Windows Phone platform starting today. If you are an existing Hike user on Windows Phone, you can still continue messaging your friends as before, but they won’t be shipping any new features.
