Long time readers will know we have had our ups and downs with Pandora, who withheld a Windows Mobile app for a long time, complaining about the fragmentation of the OS then.

Not it seems the battle will start all over again with Pandora tweeting in response to a question that they have no plans for a Windows Phone 7 app.

Of course some , many may question the need for such an app, with Zune streaming neatly built into the OS, but I have always enjoyed Pandora’s custom playlists, not to mention the thumbs down button so lacking in other solutions.

Having said that, my favourite app at the moment is Last.FM, which streams, completely for free, to my HTC 7 Trophy, and that is more than good enough at present.
