The Halo 4 trailer is long anticipated, being directed by Oscar-nominated director David Fincher, best known for directing The Social Network and Fight Club.
The video shows the origin of Masterchief and the new evil he will be fighting in the latest edition of the saga.
Halo 4 is set to be released exclusively for the Xbox 360 on the 6th November, and will sell for $59.99, but is also available as past of the Xbox 360 Halo console bundle.
