Microsoft is scrambling to remove in-game Halo 4 footage from YouTube after the two discs of the game leaked recently.

The game is only hitting the market on the 6th November, but footage of the game is is showing up on the internet faster than Microsoft can ask for it to be removed.

The game’s creative director Josh Holmes has asked fans not to spoil the game for themselves by watching these videos, saying on twitter:

Halo 4 is the first instalment in a new trilogy of the successful Halo series of games, with the "Reclaimer Trilogy" takes place four years after the events of Halo 3 with the Master Chief having been lost in space.

Microsoft told gaming website Joystiq that the company is investigating reports of a Halo 4 leak and is working with law enforcement to manage the situation.

Gamers who install the pirated multi-player game also risk being banned from Xbox Live, so the recommendation is really to ignore the internet and wait it out for the next 3 weeks.
