GroupMe picks up new notification sounds in new update

Skype may be Microsoft;s premier messaging app nowadays but like Google the firm isn’t beyond launching two or three more apps and/or services that duplicate that functionality.

GroupMe for Windows 10 has just received another update for everyone in the Windows Store, this update brings a trickle down of changes from the Windows Insider program, most notably the addition of new sounds and services (via Windows Central).

Now users of GroupMe now have more sounds to customise their chats with, so they can recognise their conversations by the sounds they make alone.

There are probably bug fixes and improvements, and Microsoft appears to have slightly changed the hamburger menu animation in GroupMe, but other than that there’s nothing else new.
