A normal Surface Pen costs around $99, but Microsoft is aiming the $399 Surface Go at the educational market, making the tablet + pen combo rather expensive.
To address this issue Microsoft release a special Surface Go Classroom Pen which only costs $40, but was only available in bundles of 20, meaning you had to buy $800 worth to get the discounted price.
It is therefore somewhat surprising that you can now buy a single Surface Go-compatible Pen for only $29.99 on Amazon.com.
The specifications are listed as:
- Compatible: Works with Microsoft Surface Go 10 inch Touch-Screen;
- Two buttons: Right click and Eraser. A Pen that’s ready for the professional, Write, draw, or mark-up documents digitally.
- Efficient: No drivers and Bluetooth required. Just plug the battery. Product includes battery, up to 18 months’ battery life.
- 1,024 Levels of pressure: Write smoothly, just like writing in the paper.
- Attention please: It will NOT work with Surface Pro1, Pro2, and RT.
The accessory appears ideal for those who want to lend their Surface Go to a child on occasion. See the deal while it lasts at Amazon here.
Thanks, Atec Solution for the tip.
