GoPro has updated the Official GoPro app in the Windows Phone Store.

The app allows Windows Phone users to control their GoPro cameras remotely over WIFI and even have a video preview from the cameras on their phones.

The latest update brings support for GoPro’s latest and most affordable LCD-equipped camera, the $299 GoPo HERO+ LCD, which features on device editing.

  • Adds support for the new HERO+LCD camera
  • Revised app-to-camera pairing flow with video-based assistance for new camera setup
  • Improved reliability of camera firmware update feature
