Google's upcoming "Hatch" Chromebook with Intel Comet Lake chipset spotted on Geekbench

Google is expected to launch a new Chromebook with updates specs soon. Back in November of 2018, Chrome Unboxed reported that the new Chromebook codenamed “Hatch” will come with Intel’s latest Comet Lake chipset.

The device has now popped up on benchmarking website Geekbench and sheds light on the specs of the device. According to the Geekbench listing, the Hatch Chromebook will be powered by 10th Gen i3-10110U dual-core chipset. Google is expected to launch Chromebook with i5 and i7 processors as well. Along with the 10th Gen processors, the device is also equipped with 8 GB of RAM. Apart from that, Google is expected to bundle the Chromebook with a fingerprint scanner and a stylus. The Chromebook will also have an aspect ratio of 3:2 and a resolution of 2400 x 1600.

Google is expected to announce the Chromebook along with the Pixel 4 at their fall hardware event on 15th October. Though Google hasn’t confirmed the date yet, various leaks suggest that the event will take place on 15th October.
