On May 29, 2025, Google announced that its Career Certificates program has surpassed one million graduates worldwide, including over 350,000 in the U.S. The initiative, launched seven years ago, offers online training in fields like IT support, data analytics, project management, and cybersecurity. According to the latest Impact Report, more than 70% of U.S. graduates have experienced positive career outcomes, such as new jobs, promotions, or raises, within six months of completion.

The program collaborates with over 800 U.S. colleges and 2,000 businesses, including members of the Grow with Google Employer Consortium like Siemens, T-Mobile, and Wells Fargo. These partnerships aim to integrate certificate programs into educational curricula and hiring practices.
