Google releases Chrome browser for Daydream VR headsets

Google today announced the release of Chrome web browser for Daydream VR headsets. Google Daydream View and the Lenovo Mirage Solo are the first headsets on which Chrome will be available in VR.

Chrome for VR comes with new a feature called “cinema mode” which optimizes web video for the best viewing experience in VR. It also comes with all the features which are already available in Chrome mobile including voice search, incognito mode, bookmarks, and more.

If you have a Daydream headset, you can launch Chrome directly from your homepage and start browsing the web.
